Features

Ask in plain words, confirm every change

An assistant in the app that knows your setup and never changes anything without your yes. Type a question, or talk through setup out loud.

Ask in plain words

Ask things like “Who still needs setup?” or “Approve Sam’s clean days.” and get an answer about your own company.

Nothing changes until you confirm

When the assistant proposes a change, it shows you exactly what it will do. Nothing is saved until you tap Confirm.

Talk through setup

Guided setup can read its questions aloud and take spoken answers in browsers that support it. Everything still goes through review before it’s saved. See guided setup.

Answers for your crew too

Employees can search short help articles and ask the assistant common questions about punching, hours and time off.

You type questions to the assistant. For setup, you can also talk it through: the app reads each question aloud and, in browsers that support it, turns your spoken answer into text. No audio is sent to PunchOutPayroll.

Can the assistant change my settings?

It can propose a change, but nothing is saved until you tap Confirm.

What can I ask it?

Questions about your crew, hours, time off and setup, like who still needs setup or which days are ready to approve.

Can employees use it?

Yes. Employees can ask common questions about punching, hours and time off, and search the help articles.

Does the assistant run payroll?

No. PunchOutPayroll prepares hours up to payroll submission. You run payroll.
